Personal commissions

I reflect a special memory by using a preferred reference photo as my guide. A couple of options are always a good idea to ensure that lighting and colour are most natural.

Below is an indication of pricing. I will give you a custom estimate based on your chosen reference image and the level of detail you would like.

  • Priced from $500. The artwork focuses on up to two people, full-body or close-up, with a minimal background. Pricing may vary depending on the extent of detail wished to be included.

    Including background detail and feature elements like floral displays or landscapes.

  • Priced from $1200, this incorporates a higher level of detail and the option to include more expansive landscape scenery or additional subject matter

FAQs

Printing

Artwork is printed on high-quality fine art paper (heavy-weight textured cotton rag) in a natural white tone that is not too cool and not too warm, perfect for fine art prints. Archival pigment ink (giclee printing) is used for beautiful and accurate colouring.

Time frame

Please allow up to 4 weeks for the finished artwork to be completed and any details to be adjusted after a review. This allows me to ensure everything is just how you like it before it comes home. Lead time for framed prints can take up to 10 days (in New Zealand). During our correspondence, I will estimate the best time-frame for your commission.

Framing

I recommend slim frames that have a super thin contemporary frame moulding for a minimal look. Generally, for wedding artwork, I would suggest the white frame, but we can discuss the best option based on the colouring in your painting.

Moulding dimensions:
20mm wide x 20mm high

Finished frame dimensions:
A4 = 240mm x 330mm
A3 = 330mm x 450mm
A2 = 450mm x 625mm

Frames come with acid-free backing boards and standard 2mm glass.

A4-A1 prints are strung and ready to hang.

All frames are cleanly tapped on the back for a professional finish.

Natural frames are made of uncoated wood that will slightly darken over time.

UV or non-reflective glass is available upon request.

Avoid direct sun light to protect your art from fading.
